The timber bridge over Dry Creek on SR 241 was destroyed by fire in August 2009

Overview
On Aug. 21, 2009, the Dry Creek Bridge burned as a result of a grass fire. This project replaced the bridge with a new crossing that meets current WSDOT standards.

WSDOT would like to thank motorists for their cooperation and patience while the new bridge was being constructed.

Construction was completed May 2010.

Funding

This project was funded through the following sources:

  • State Funding (2005 Transportation Partnership Account) - $275,000
  • State Funding (Pre-Existing Funds) - $463,000
  • Total Funding Available from All Sources - $738,000
