SR 206 - Deadman Creek Bridge Scour Repair - Complete August 2006

Placing "rip-rap" under the bridge to protect the footings.

Overview
Stream flows eroded the bridge footings.  If allowed to continue, the bridge structure could have been at risk.  The eroded footings were repaired and a rock barrier was added to prevent further erosion.

Partnerships & Cooperation
At WSDOT we seek to address the concerns of the tribal nations using the process outlined in Section 106 of The National Historic Preservation Act and the WSDOT Tribal Consultation Policy adopted in 2003 by the Transportation Commission as part of the WSDOT Centennial Accord Plan.
