Overview
WSDOT replaced a retaining wall on Issaquah-Hobart Road under SR 18 that was damaged by the floods in January 2009.
The new wall extends further than the original wall to prevent more damage to Issaquah-Hobart Road. Crews also replaced the damaged roadway shoulder, barrier and guardrail.

The new, larger retaining wall will better support Issaquah-Hobart Road and prevent future flood damage. New barrier and guardrail will improve safety.

Partnerships & Cooperation
This project was awarded to SB Structures on May 17, 2010. Construction began in August 2010 and was completed in October 2010.
