And, then there were two. Nearly five years after workers broke ground at the site of east anchorage of the new Narrows Bridge, the span, suspended adjacent to the 1950 bridge, is nearly complete. The bridge will open in July. Before it opens to traffic, a community celebration will take place on the bridge deck (see below).
