Cable Spinning Continues:
As 2005 drew to a close, construction of the new bridge had passed the
75 percent mark. Crews marked the Christmas season with decorative lights
on the catwalks. Cable
spinning is the fourth major phase of work after caisson,
anchorage
and tower
construction.
