Pierce Transit buses travel across the Narrows everyday. The transit company provides service to a 450-square-mile area and some 675,000 people. Bus service connects Gig Harbor and other Peninsula residents to Fircrest, Lakewood, Tacoma, University Place and unincorporated Pierce County.
