Overview
In summer and fall 2012, we replaced the sub-standard timber luminaire poles adjacent to the Southworth ferry terminal exit lanes. The project also included relocation of the existing aerial cable to below ground and replacement of any deficient guardrail.
 | Improves Safety
The new poles eliminate a safety hazard. The old poles were leaning heavily and could have posed a risk of falling over.

The new lights are more efficient LED lights.
