Overview
The new SR 16 Burley Olalla Road interchange opened to traffic Oct. 7, 2009.

Two new bridges carry traffic over Burley Olalla Road and accomodate future SR 16 expansion. New on- and off-ramps improve access between Burley Olalla Road and SR 16.

WSDOT completed the project more than nine months ahead of schedule and $1.75 million under budget.

Cross GlyphImproves Safety
This project improves safety. Vehicles no longer have to cross the median to enter and exit the highway.
Leaf Glyph Protects Environment
Project enhances the environment by rechanneling two streams and installing wider culverts for improved fish passage.
