Overview
This project improves safety on segments of state routes 3, 101, 104, 106, 300, 302, and 307. The project intent is to reduce the severity of collisions in areas that have a history of run-off-the-road incidents resulting in fatalities and disabling injuries.
 | Improves Safety
Motorists now have safer routes with added guardrail, gentler slopes, added shoulder rumble strips, added centerline rumble strips, improved signing, delineation, improved drainage and tree and stump removal.

 | Protects Environment
WSDOT is committed to preserving the environment, and makes every effort to assess and minimize environmental impacts from our projects. A detailed analysis of the project's environmental impacts was completed, and where necessary, an appropriate plan for mitigation of impacts was developed and documented as part of the Environmental Documentation and Environmental Permitting process.
