Overview
This project enhanced motorist safety on portions of SR 21, 23, 26, 27, 194, 260, 261, 263, 271, 274, 278, and 292 in Adams, Franklin, Spokane, and Whitman Counties with guardrail and roadsides now up to more current safety standards.

Partnerships & Cooperation
At WSDOT we seek to address the concerns of the tribal nations using the process outlined in Section 106 of The National Historic Preservation Act and the WSDOT Tribal Consultation Policy adopted in 2003 by the Transportation Commission as part of the WSDOT Centennial Accord Plan.
Funding
This project was funded through the following sources:
2005 Gas Tax (Partnership funding) - $2 million.
Federal Funds - $970,000
Total Funding Available from all sources - $2.97 Million.
