Overview
Previously, shorter segments of siding track in Stanwood caused up to 70 minute passenger and freight train delays. Crews upgraded and extended the siding to decrease delay and improve passenger train on-time performance.
 | Improves Safety
Two crossings, at Dettling Rd./300th St. and 102nd Ave., were upgraded with new signals and crossing arms. Additional signage was also installed to prevent drivers from stopping on the tracks.
