Overview
This projected extended an existing 4,600-foot siding track another 4,700 feet, creating space for slower freight trains to pull aside for faster passenger trains. This addition provides sufficient space for 8,00-foot freight trains that are now common.

This was Phase 2 of the work. Phase 1 added 4,600 feet of siding track.
