Rail - Port of Longview - Longview Rail Loop - Complete September 2009

Project Status - Complete


Overview
This project constructed two short segments of railroad track between the Columbia River marine terminals and the port’s Industrial rail Corridor. The project improves rail operations at the port and brings rail service to port tenants located inland from the marine terminals.

How You Benefit
Dollar Sign Glyph Economic Incentive
The project expands rail access to Port tenants not located on the waterfront. The project also helps the Port attract new tenants requiring marine and rail transportation.

This project was funded by the State of Washington and constructed by the Port of Longview.
