Rail - Lewis and Clark Railroad Rehabilitation - Complete March 2007

Overview
The track suffered from years of deferred maintenance. Construction began in September 2006 and was completed in March 2007. The sections most in need of rehabilitation were improved with new ties, rail and ballast.

Funding

This project is funded through the following sources:

  • 2003 Legislative Transportation Package (New & Used Vehicle Sales
    Tax) - $300,000
  • Total Funding From All Sources - $300,000 
  • Unfunded Amount Remaining (Additional Funding Needed) - $9,700,000
