Overview
This project and two other chip seal pavers on SR 155 and 243 are combined into one contract called NCR Seal 2009 Stage 2. Construction began May 26 and was complete August 6, 2009. (Read the news release). All 24 miles of SR 262 in southern Grant County were resurfaced. Chip sealing repaired pavement damage and extends the life of the roadway. This treatment improves safety for drivers by creating a skid-resistant surface and reducing glare.
