Overview
WSDOT and construction crews strengthened and perserved this over four mile roadway to handle heavy traffic and freight trucks. Drivers now experience a smoother, and safer driving surface.

This project supported an estimated 40 jobs, which include jobs on the project, jobs producing materials for the project, and other jobs in the local community.

Partnerships & Cooperation
This project was constructed on existing WSDOT right-of-way; therefore, no partnerships were necessary.
Funding
This project was funded through the following sources:
• American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) - $3.0 million
• Existing Funds - $0.3 million
• Total Funding Available from all sources - $3.3
million
