Drivers now experience a smoother driving surface.

Overview
This project strengthened and extended the service life of the pavement in the westbound lanes of I-90 just east of Snoqualmie Summit by installing steel dowel bars in the wheel paths between panels for the right lanes. Crews replaced severely cracked panels and grinded the roadway surface to improve the ride and extend the pavement life. The project also restored signing, striping and other basic safety features.
