WSDOT replaced existing cameras across Snoqualmie Pass with cameras that are able to function in low light conditions.
The traveling public is now able to view current weather and road conditions around the clock rather than being limited to daylight hours only.
WSDOT Traffic Management Centers are able to better alert the public of pending road conditions and emergencies that occur at night.
Cameras are a vital part of WSDOT 's communication strategy to keep motorists informed and traffic moving smoothly.
