Overview
This project replaced the right hand lane and shoulders in the westbound direction of I-90 near Easton with new concrete lane and asphalt shoulders. Crews also replaced severely cracked panels in the left hand lane and smoothed the roadway surface to improve the ride and extend the life of the pavement. This project also restored signing, striping, and other basic safety features.
Prior to construction, the concrete pavement on this section of westbound I-90 was aged and deteriorated due to harsh weather and heavy traffic volumes.
