Overview
This project involved the installation of Thrie-Beam Guardrail on the I-90/Latah Creek Bridge and the Lindeke Street Bridge.
The existing bridge rail did not meet current design standards.

The added rail will reduce the severity of collisions and reduce the risk of the bridge rail failing to contain vehicles.

Partnerships & Cooperation
At WSDOT we seek to address the concerns of the tribal nations using the process outlined in Section 106 of The National Historic Preservation Act and the WSDOT Tribal Consultation Policy adopted in 2003 by the Transportation Commission as part of the WSDOT Centennial Accord Plan.
Funding
This project is funded through the State "Nickel" Funds - $810,000
Total Funding Available from all sources - $810,000.
