I-90 - Harvard Road On Ramp (Liberty Lake) Pedestrian Overcrossing - Complete August 2007

Overview
This project added a second pedestrian bridge at the Liberty Lake/Harvard Rd. Interchange.
The 100+ foot long bridge crosses the I-90 westbound on-ramp. The first bridge crosses the freeway mailine just to the south of the new structure.

This second bridge provides increased safety for pedestrians and bicyclists as they cross the I-90 westbound on-ramp.

Partnerships & Cooperation
The City of Liberty Lake was a funding partner in the first pedestrian bridge and has built the trail network that these bridges connect.

Funding

This project was funded through the following sources:

· 2005 Gas Tax (Partnership funding) - $330,000

· Federal Funds - $880,000

Total Funding Available from all sources - $1.21 Million.
