I-82 - Granger to W Grandview - EB Dowel Bar Retrofit and Concrete Rehab - Complete October 2010

Overview
The concrete pavement on eastbound I-82 between Granger and West Grandview was developing faulting between panels, resulting in a rough ride and accelerated deterioration.  The contractor strengthened the eastbound right lane and extended its service life by installing dowel bars in the wheel paths between each concrete panels.  The contractor also replaced severely cracked panels and ground the surface to improve traction.
