I-5 - Roanoke Vicinity Noise Wall Project - Complete June 2009

Overview
The Seattle neighborhoods of Roanoke Park and Eastlake experienced high noise levels from I-5. The original construction of I-5 did not consider noise impacts.

Installing noise walls along this busy corridor  reduced I-5-generated noise for the surrounding communities, improving outdoor public spaces and local resident/pedestrian life.
