I-5 - Guardrail Retrofit - Complete July 2009

Overview
Crews working for WSDOT replaced guardrail and installed new lighting fixtures to improve safety on six ramps and one side street along northbound I-5 between Swift Avenue and NE 70th Street.

The new, stronger guardrail protects drivers and the lighting fixtures provides improved driver visability.
