Crews are installing the rebar that will reinforce a concrete bridge abutment on the new NE 116th Bridge. The new bridge is scheduled to be complete by the end of September.
Crews recently finished painting the new noise wall near the NE 85th Street interchange. The plants in the left side of the picture are just some the over 11,000 trees and shrubs that were planted during the project.
Crews are 90% done with enhancing and restoring over 1.5 acres of Forbes Lake wetlands. WSDOT will turn the lake over to the City of Kirkland by 2017.
