During the month of January, construction crews built the last noise wall on the east side of I-405 north of NE 85th Street. By mid-February, crews will install the final caps on top of the wall.
Construction crews planted hundreds of trees and shrubs around Forbes Lake this winter. Crews will begin planting along the interstate corridor in mid-February.
The new topography, woody debris, and planting are designed to enhance and expand the existing wetlands.
