Crews set new girders over a two-night period for the new bridge over NE 116th Street. The new bridge will be wider than the old one, and will be completed this fall.Crews set the bridge girders during the nighttime, to minimize inconveniences to drivers on NE 116th Street. I-405 remained open to traffic while the girders were set.Crews recently began planting hundreds of new plants along the I-405 corridor in Kirkland.The neighborhood side of the noise wall has a stone block finish, as pictured above. Over 2000 feet of new noise walls have been built as part of the project.
