We replaced one floating and two fixed timber dolphins with three steel fixed dolphins. Dolphins are offshore structures that help guide the ferry. View a diagram of ferry terminal components.

This project preserves the landing aids for slip #1 by installing new structures with a 50-year life.

Removing the creosote timber dolphins and installing steel dolphins improves the environment for salmon.
