Overhead loading structure at Anacortes Terminal (enlarge)
Overview
WSF performed preservation work on the overhead loading structure at the Anacortes terminal. Work included painting three spans, replacing the roofing and siding, upgrading the mechanical system, performing maintenance and replacing lighting.
 | Improves Safety
New paint protects the steel structure from corrosion that would weaken the structure. The new siding, roofing and lighting in the walkway improve safety for walk-on customers. Improved mechanical hoist and hydraulic systems also improve the safety of the structure.
