- Weekly Construction Update
- Construction has resumed after the winter suspension.
- Awarded to the Frank Gurney Company of Spokane Valley, WA with a construction bid of $1,273,710.
Work includes removing sections of old, sub-standard guardrail and replacing with new rail and raising the height of some guardrail sections. work may include other minor items.
Why is WSDOT
doing this work?
This project bring some of the highway facility features up to current standards.
The End Result
Items such as guardrail ends are brought up to current standards.
Project Benefits
Reduced severity of collisions.
What is the project timeline?
The work will begin and be completed during the 2012 construction season.
Financial Information
Project signage will reflect the cost of construction engineering, project bid award and sales tax.
