SR 520 Bridge Replacement and HOV Program

Demolition of the "Ramps to Nowhere" near the Washington Park Aboretum begins as crews remove a girder from the elevated structure on Saturday, Oct. 18. The never-completed ramps are expected to be fully taken down and hauled away by summer 2015.

Building a new and improved SR 520 corridor

The SR 520 Bridge Replacement and HOV Program will enhance safety by replacing the aging floating bridge and keep the region moving with vital transit and roadway improvements throughout the corridor.

The 12.8-mile highway begins at I-5 in Seattle and extends to SR 202 in Redmond.
