SR 520 Bridge Replacement and HOV Program

Full SR 520 closure scheduled for March 31 – April 3 
Crews plan to close all lanes and ramps of SR 520 between 92nd Avenue Northeast and Montlake Boulevard from 11 p.m. Friday, March 31, to 5 a.m. Monday, April 3. The bicycle/pedestrian path on the new floating bridge also will be closed over that weekend. Visit the WABN What's Happening Now Page for more information.

Draft traffic management plan for the Montlake area

Major Public Project Construction Noise Variance
The city of Seattle will host a public meeting on April 6 regarding WSDOT’s application for a noise variance for our upcoming Montlake Phase of construction. The meeting is set for 4 to 6:30 p.m. at Saint Demetrios Hall. Public comments will be submitted to the city of Seattle. More information is available on the city of Seattle's website.

Program Overview

The SR 520 Bridge Replacement and HOV Program is enhancing public safety and mobility by replacing the highway's aging, vulnerable bridges and making significant transit and roadway improvements throughout the corridor. The construction program's planned improvements extend from I-5 in Seattle to I-405 in Bellevue.
