Federal Roads

There are 8,803 miles of federal roads in Washington. Roads classified as federal are those owned by the federal government including U.S. Forest Service (Department of Agriculture), National Park Service (U.S. Department of Interior), U.S. Department of Energy, Bureau of Indian Affairs, Bureau of Land Management, National Fish and Wildlife Service, Bureau of Reclamation (Department of Interior), U.S. Army CORPS of Engineers, U.S. Department of Defense, and U.S. Army.
