2009 AASHTO Value Engineering Conference

From August 30 through September 2, 2009, the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) hosted the 2009 AASHTO Value Engineering Conference at the Westin Gaslamp Hotel in downtown San Diego. The conference was widely attended, including participants from over 16 U.S. states, Canada, Greece, and South Korea.

Value Engineering Technical Committee Charge Statement

To establish and maintain policy to assist states in the development of individual Value Engineering Programs, ensure integrity and uniformity of value engineering practices, and promote value engineering within all areas of state and federal transportation programs. Plan and deliver a biennial transportation value engineering conference.
