WASHOUGAL – Community members who use State Route 14 near Washougal are invited to share their ideas about future improvements at an open house next week.

The Washington State Department of Transportation is seeking public input about plans to enhance access along this stretch of highway.  Agency staff will be available to discuss design options, take feedback and answer questions.

There will be no formal presentation at the event. Attendees are free to come and go at their convenience. An online survey will also be available to capture public comments from Monday, Oct. 10 until Monday, Oct. 31.

WSDOT will use the information gathered at the open house and from the on-line survey to determine project priorities and develop design options. These options will be presented to the public for additional comment early next year. Construction is scheduled to begin in 2019.
