Permanent Traffic Recorder Data Collection Report - Monthly

(Formerly, Automated Traffic Data Collection Report)

data collection imageThe Permanent Traffic Recorder (PTR) Data Collection report is produced monthly and shows the permanently installed traffic reporting sites which collected data for the current month. The Automated Traffic Data Collection Report are lists by two categories (Urban and Rural) site name, location, leg and State Route Milepost (SRMP). It includes a compilation of collected data from various sources which included, Statewide Travel and Collision Data Office, Northwest (NW) Regional Traffic Office, Washington State Ferries, and Oregon State when available.

The data available in the current Permanent Traffic Recorder Data Collection Report are Monthly Average Daily Traffic (MADT) percent change comparisons from the last 3-year average, sorted by State Route and milepost. This report will help the user identify recreational sites and in which geographic area they are located.

The users of this publication are typically Traffic Engineers, Planners, Traffic Operations, other governmental agencies, and private business and individuals.
