Annual/Quarterly Speed Report
The Annual/Quarterly Speed Report is a source of reliable data for state highways that may be used to evaluate vehicle speed trends within the state and to assist in highway design, safety improvements and ascertain general speed trends in accident locations.
The Speed Report supplies reliable Washington state highway speed data to Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), Traffic Safety Commission, highway designers, engineering consultants, Washington State Patrol, regional traffic/planning offices, other state's department of transportation, private citizens and private business/firms.
The data is comprised from a random three-day sampling for each site within a Calendar quarter (three months).
