Intermediate Mapping & GPS Certified Training - Course CP9
Hours: 16 (2 Days)
Description: This two-day course includes all topics covered in the one-day training course, plus the following topics: mission planning, data dictionary creation, advanced data collection techniques, differential correction using GPS Pathfinder Office, exporting data to your GIS and two field sessions utilizing advanced data collection techniques. The training will include classroom sessions and two field exercises. Participants should come with appropriate clothing and equipment for working outdoors.
Objectives: Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:
- Perform mission planning
- Create a data dictionary
- Differentially correct field data using Pathfinder Office software
- Edit data in Pathfinder Office software
- Export data to GIS
- Practice advanced data collection techniques in a field environment
