The Permanent Traffic Recorder (PTR) Data Collection report is produced monthly and shows the permanently installed traffic reporting sites which collected data for the current month. The former (before October 2008) Automated Traffic Data Collection Report sites on the report listed by two categories (Urban and Rural) site name, location, leg and State Route Milepost (SRMP). It included a compilation of collected data from various sources which included, Transportation Data Office, NW Regional Traffic Office, Seattle Ferries, Oregon State when available.
The data available in the current Permanent Traffic Recorder Data Collection report are Monthly Average Daily Traffic (MADT) percent change comparisons from the last 3-year average, sorted by State Route and milepost. This report will help the user identify recreational sites and which geographic area it's in.
The users of this publication are typically Traffic Engineers, State Planners, Traffic Operations, State Officials, other government agencies, and private business and individuals.
