Administrative Unit
The Administrative Unit plays a vital role in assisting the Transportation Data Office (TDO) to meet the needs of our customers. They are the wheels that work quietly in the background providing the momentum that enables this vehicle that is the TDO to remain constantly in motion, and successfully achieve its mission, responsibilities, and tasks.
The Administrative Unit provides support services to the TDO General Manager and five (5) branches consisting of more than 100 staff. They are the point of contact for both external, and internal customers seeking information on our products and services. The administrative unit staff is responsible for scheduling meetings, receiving guests, preparing outgoing mail, and distribution of incoming mail. They prepare all correspondence generated by the office, provide human resource and payroll services to the staff, provide travel assistance from scheduling to final reimbursement, and management of the TDO accounts payable process which provides vendor payments to over 150 external customers. They are responsible for providing all office related services such as building security, building maintenance, janitorial services, telephone services, office equipment, office supplies office moves, and Emergency Disaster Planning.
