The functional classification maps accessed through the following links reflect the Federal Functional Classifications for Washington State as defined and approved by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA). The maps are updated periodically to reflect changes in the functionally classified network within Washington State. Changes in the functional classification system may be officially approved and not yet reflected on this site. Please refer to the "Functional Classification Request Status" document (in Portable Document Format (.PDF)) to determine whether approved requests have been included in the maps on this site.
