As part of the Strategic Planning Division, the Statewide Travel & Collision Data Office (STCDO) consists of the Collision Data & Analysis Branch, the Travel Data & Analysis Branch and the Management & Administrative Support Branch. STCDO is responsible for collecting, processing, analyzing and disseminating travel data for Washington State highways, highway performance monitoring, functional classification, and collision data for all roads in Washington State. STCDO produces many products that are used by a wide variety of Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) Headquarters and Regional staff, Federal Highways Administration (FHWA), other state agencies, local (city/county) entities, the public, private enterprise and researchers. STCDO's mission is to provide the best quality data so informed decisions can be made that will result in the best benefit to the people of Washington State.
