Initial download from the WSDOT TRIPS mainframe system file HWY.XNB.D100.MILETRAF: SRID, Beg_MP, Beg_AB, End_MP, End_MP, Beg_ARM, End_ARM, and Estimated AADT. This data, as well as lane number information from WSDOT's Datamart, was loaded to software with code for (a) consolidating contiguous segments with the same AADT and (b) dividing segments at locations where the roadway changes from one direction of travel to two or from two directions of travel to one. Data queried on process date.

Placed extracted datasets onto the Linear Referencing system. Data was placed on the Increasing 24k Linear Referencing System (LRS) except for roadway segments with no lanes carrying traffic in the increasing direction of mileposting. These segments were placed on the Decreasing 24k LRS. Those two datasets were merged together to produce the final result.
