        Process Description:
          Data originated from the TRansportation Information and Planning Support (TRIPS) mainframe database which in turn then feeds into a sequel database which offers greater flexibility in reporting. The information is then extracted using the tool Hyperion and exported into the Excel format.

        Process Description:
          The excel spreadsheet was imported into a personal geodatabase. From the personal geodatabase, route events were created for the corresponding routes. Route events were exported into feature classes and merged into one data set. If errors, error messages were reviewed. An EVENTERR column was added, 0 = No Error and 1 = Error.

          This occurs when two (or more) State Routes share the same physical alignment. A Coincident location carries one Major State Route and up to three Minor Routes. The Major SR carries all the highway data. The Minor SR will only contain Region and County line breaks.
