The Geographic Names Information System extract for Washington State was downloaded from the USGS -Board of Geographic Names site (<http://geonames.usgs.gov/domestic/download_data.htm>) in the States, Terrotories, Associated Areas of the United States Block. Text file was imported into Microsoft Excel as a bar delimited file. Resultant table was imported to ArcMap and 'Display XY Data' using Longitude as X Field and Latitude as Y Field and using the Geographic Coordinate System: GCS_North_American_1983. Data was then projected using the Project command in ArcToolbox to convert to NAD83(HARN) State Plane South feet.
