State Route Web (SRweb)
SRweb is a software tool that allows users to view digital images of the State Highway System via a web browser. SRview was first created and designed for WSDOT's internal use; however, it was soon recognized that SRview would also be beneficial for the general public's use with little or no technical impact to the user. Thus, SRweb was created.
SRweb allows users to view a portion of the Washington State Highway Log by clicking a milepost of interest in which an image appears for the specified location. The image milepost location can then be advanced by clicking the "Forward" and "Backward" buttons. It is also possible to "skim" a route by setting the "jump" value from 1/100th of a mile to any multiple of 1/100th.
The most noticeable difference between SRweb and SRview is that SRweb requires manual advances to view the images.
For detailed instructions on using SRweb please access below the SRweb User Instructions document.
Disclaimer: These digital views are not created from a driver's perspective and do not reflect how these locations actually appear. WSDOT technology and the PC system setup of the user will affect these views. These views are provided for information purposes only. Unauthorized attempts to alter or modify these views are prohibited by law.
