Accounts

Note: The minimum opening balance for all Good To Go! accounts is $30. Should you need to close your account, your pre-paid funds will be refunded for all account types except the Unregistered Pass Account.  Inactive account fee information .

All accounts established online are automatically enrolled in auto-charge account replenishment. If you prefer an alternative to auto-charge please call customer service at 1-866-936-8246.

Registered Good To Go! Pass Account
A Registered Pass Account works for most people. It requires at least one vehicle and at least one pass, and up to six vehicles and/or up to six active passes on the account. You can add or remove vehicles and Passes from the account as needed. Using a pass in your vehicle ensures you pay the lowest toll rates on all Washington state toll facilities. A variety of Good To Go!  passes are available ranging from $5 to $12 each, plus sales tax.

Pay By Plate Account
Pay By Plate does not require you purchase a pass for your vehicle(s). Simply register your license plate(s) on your account. Pay By Plate can accommodate an unlimited number of vehicles. Vehicles can be added or removed from the account as needed. Vehicles that use Pay By Plate when crossing the SR 520 Bridge and Tacoma Narrows Bridge will be charged the posted Good To Go! toll rate plus a $0.25 fee per toll transaction. Pay By Plate is not valid for use in the SR 167 HOT Lanes.

Commercial Account
Commercial Accounts are available for customers with more than six vehicles on a single account. These accounts can accommodate an unlimited number of vehicles. While no pass is required, using a pass in your vehicle guarantees that the lowest toll rate available is applied. Questions regarding commercial accounts? Email us .

Government Agency Account
Government Accounts are offered to federal agencies, state agencies , local government agencies and transit . Government Accounts may be established in person at one of the three area customer service centers, or by phone, fax or mail. The Government Account must have at least one (1) Pass assigned; requires pre-paid funds; and supports an unlimited number of vehicles. State agencies may choose to fund and replenish their accounts using Inter-Agency Payment (IAP).

 
Other Payment Options

Pay By Mail
If you travel on the SR 520 Bridge or Tacoma Narrows Bridge infrequently, you do not need to set up an account. A photo will be taken of the vehicle's license plate as you travel on the toll facility. A bill will be sent by mail to the vehicle's registered owner at a higher toll rate . Pay By Mail is not valid on the SR 167 HOT lanes, which require a Good To Go! Pass installed in your vehicle if you are a solo-driver.

Short Term Account
This account is designed for drivers who will use the SR 520 Bridge or Tacoma Narrows Bridge, but do not want to set up and fund a permanent Good To Go! account. It is valid for up to 14 days and then it automatically closes. Drivers have up to 72 hours after they travel on a toll facility to set up this type of account. Each day's toll transactions are charged directly to your credit or debit card. You may only register a single vehicle's license plate to this account. This type of account is ideal if you are visiting and renting a vehicle, or are just using the toll facilities for 14 days or less. Short Term Account toll rates are $0.50 less than Pay By Mail toll rates . You may see tolls posting up to eight days after travel due to processing time. This type of account is not valid on the SR 167 HOT lanes, which require a Good To Go! Pass installed in your vehicle if you are a solo-driver.

Unregistered Pass Account
This account is can only be set up in person at a customer service center . This account does not require you to provide any identifying contact information. You may choose to provide an email address to receive statements, and may establish read-only online account access. At least one Pass must be assigned to the account. Please note that any toll transactions that cannot be posted to the account will be billed to the registered vehicle owner via Pay By Mail. Pre-paid funds cannot be refunded if an unregistered account is closed.

If you register your license plate on a Good To Go! Registered Pass or Pay By Plate account and don't install a pass or your pass isn't read 

$0.25 per toll transaction

Paper statements and reprinting fee

Upon each mailing of a paper statement at the account holder's request

$1.50 for the first three pages, and $0.50 for each additional page.


*When a Good To Go! account hasn’t had any activity for 18 months, we make two attempts to reach the customer six months before closing the account. An account is closed and a $5 fee is charged after 24 months of no activity. Customers can close their account at any time and be issued a full refund of the remaining balance.
