In fiscal year 2002-2003, Washington State Ferries re-evaluated many of our business practices, made some tough business decisions, and took steps toward increasing our revenue and decreasing our operating costs in order to remain a viable transportation system.

Washington State Ferries remains extremely committed to providing safe and reliable service to our customers. But we are shifting our focus regarding the way we conduct business.
