Vehicle drivers traveling from one of the San Juan Islands to Sidney must have a reservation. Customers wishing to travel from Orcas, Lopez, or Shaw islands to Friday Harbor to catch the International sailing to Sidney B.C., may travel free between the islands only if the customer has a reservation and confirmation number.
