Enjoy the Ride

Enjoy the Ride This is what you've waited for! Enjoy the view, chart your course, photograph the Northwest. Check out our galleys - size varies depending on the boat. Most serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner during peak hours. We also serve snacks, wine, beer, and on some routes - Espresso! Yes, you can bring your own food, but no alcohol.

Kids will love the ferry, but should never travel alone. Toys and treats make the car-waits happier. Remember, even little ones must observe the no running or jumping on deck rule.

Pets should stay in your car, or on a leash on the car deck if you are a walk-on passenger. Otherwise, they must be kept in pet carriers. On some ferries, it is possible to take your animal to outside upper decks, but they may not be in the cabin at any time. This, of course, does not apply to disabled person who has a service animal. These special animals may accompany their owners into the cabin. All pets should have rabies shots.

No smoking on the car deck - it's dangerous and there is a $500 fine.

Lost items can be found on the boat or at the terminal. Contact a crew member if you want to fill out a claim for lost or damaged items, or an injury that occurred while on board. In most cases, lost and found items are taken to the terminal on the east side of the route. You can call about lost and found at (206) 515-3439.

Special Needs
If you are disabled and have special needs, let us know at the tollbooth as you pay your fare. Mention which side of your car needs to be near an elevator on the car deck. Don't assume that we will spot disabled stickers or license plates. The crew has to know about your needs in advance of loading.
