Beginning today, April 30th through Friday, May 9th, the City of Seattle is doing trenching work near Colman Dock/Pier 52. This will at times impact our ability to off-load vehicles from the north exit at Colman Dock/Pier 52. Both Bremerton and Bainbridge off-loading vehicle traffic will be impacted. During this time, we will be utilizing the south exit to off-load traffic in a timely manner. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Ongoing DOT construction at the intersection of Harborview Dr and SR 305 will require electrical lines under the sidewalk near the coffee kiosk. Please note the cones around the borer machine and take safety precautions in this area. Minor traffic disruptions may occur during off peak times throughout the project and any major lane closures have been scheduled after hours. Work times may vary.
April 27 through May 29 WSDOT will be conducting repaving work on SR 525 in Clinton between Bob Galbreath Road and Clinton Terminal.
Some work will require traffic rerouting, single lane offloading and/or lane closures. Traffic modifications will be scheduled to take place after 8 p.m. Representatives from Washington State Patrol will be on site during traffic rerouting and lane closures. No impact on pedestrian traffic is expected.
The schedule is weather-dependant and subject to change.
The Bremerton Tunnel Project will be installing a new sewer line from the ferry terminal exit lanes, down 1st street to Pacific Ave.
This work will require the complete closure of 1st street for the next several weeks. Local south bound and pick-up and drop-off traffic on Pacific Ave will detour onto 2nd street. Vehicles boarding the ferry, buses and (placard) disable pick up and drop off will use the right lane on Pacific to access the toll booths and the transit deck.
The city of Bremerton will be providing additional pick-up and drop-off stalls on 2nd Ave.
Vehicles exiting the ferry will have a short detour route as they leave the terminal. Please watch for these changes.
Vehicles between 6,000 and 80,000 pounds should make reservations to travel on each sailing on this route by calling 1-888-808-7977. Reservations need to be made at least 1 day prior to sailing.
Trucks over 80,000 lbs will need to take either the Edmonds to Kingston route or the Mukilteo to Clinton route.
We will be down to one lane offloading at the Bremerton terminal. During the afternoon commute, a police officer will be at the intersection of Washington and Burwell to expedite offloading traffic through the intersection. The offloading traffic will be diverted through the new temporary exit lanes in the holding lot. A bicycle lane will also be provided in the detour.
