Seattle / Bremerton Route - Tunnel Project Creates Traffic Detour
The Bremerton Tunnel Project will be installing a new sewer line from the ferry terminal exit lanes, down 1st street to Pacific Ave.

This work will require the complete closure of 1st street for the next several weeks. Local south bound and pick-up and drop-off traffic on Pacific Ave will detour onto 2nd street. Vehicles boarding the ferry, buses and (placard) disable pick up and drop off will use the right lane on Pacific to access the toll booths and the transit deck.

The city of Bremerton will be providing additional pick-up and drop-off stalls on 2nd Ave.

Vehicles exiting the ferry will have a short detour route as they leave the terminal. Please watch for these changes.

During the afternoon commute, a police officer will be at the intersection of Washington and Burwell to expedite offloading traffic through the intersection.
